The intro just exploded into the main song, which was not really a song, it was a bunch of the same notes all jambled together, and it didn't flow too well.

It sound familiar because it's based on the standard bossa nova song progression.
The concept was to do something simple, yet catchy. The loop was technical practice to get me familiarize with GarageBand.
